Grant & Dividend Applications

Listed below are the Grant and Dividend Application Forms which are currently available:

KIWINUI TRUST (Rangitaiki 31P 3F):

Education Grants (2019 Education Grants now closed)

To qualify for an Education Grant:

  • Applicants must be shareholders, children of shareholders or grandchildren of shareholders
  • Applicants must be in at least their second year of full-time study at University, Polytech, College of Education, Wananga or NZQA Accredited Institutions

Application closing date is Wednesday, 28 March 2019. Applications received after this date will not be considered by the Trust.

Successful applicants or their whanau must attend the Kiwinui Trust Annual General Meeting to receive their Grant.

Tangihanga Grants

To qualify for a Tangihanga Grant:

  • The deceased must be a shareholder, child, grandchild, or great grandchild of a shareholder
  • An invoice of costs relating to the tangihanga must be produced
  • These applications are always open

RATAHI LANDS TRUST (Rangitaiki 12B 2)

Education Grants (2019 Education Grants now closed)

To qualify for a Education Grant:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full time at a New Zealand High School, College, Boarding School or Tertiary Institution
  • Applicants must be beneficial owners, children of beneficial owners or grandchildren of beneficial owners

Applications close on Wednesday, 30 April 2019.

Successful applicants or their whanau must attend the Ratahi Lands Trust Annual General Meeting to receive their Grant.

Dividends

To qualify for a dividend:

  • Applicant must be listed as a shareholder in the Register of Puapua Shareholders
  • Identification in the form of a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport must be attached
  • Bank account details must be provided – dividends will not be paid by cheque
  • If you are a beneficiary of a Whanau Trust, details must be supplied
